Ethiopia Reads provides research-based professional development seminars to support library managers in promoting sustainability and a welcoming environment, and to help educators cultivate effective practices for teaching literacy.
Sport for Development

Ethiopia Reads provides training and support to female athletes to lead reading circles in classrooms, form book clubs, and serve as positive role models. It also supports Team Tesfa, which encourages vulnerable, young runners to develop atheltic, vocational, and educational skills.
Libraries

Ethiopia Reads has planted over 70 libraries across Ethiopia - at least one in every region of the country. These libraries are a resource for tens of thousands of adults and children, as well as hundreds of teachers and schools directors.
Schools

Ethiopia Reads has built five schools, some in hard-to-reach farming villages, in Ethiopia and is constantly growing! It also works with the Ethiopian government to help provide kindergarden education in government schools.
